Congratulations from the Policing Matters team to Sue Akers, who was recently awarded a CBE for services to policing, in the 2013 Queens Birthday Honours.
Joining the force in 1976, Sue Akers, CBE, QPM, she retired in 2012 from her position as Deputy Assistant Commissioner Specialist Investigations.
We are delighted that Sue will join us in July as part of the team to speak at the Policing Matters Leading Ethical Performance Conference, to talk about the latest ideas and perspectives on Leading Ethical Performance.
