I have had the great privilege over the last decade and a half of working with leaders at all levels in organisations, helping them maximise their own performance as well helping them clarify the purpose and direction of the organisations in which they are key players.
In general my approach has been a mixture of drawing on my own experiences, having compassion for others situation’s and an ability to implement great coaching and mentoring skills. These three factors have helped me add significant value to individuals, teams and organisations.
Awarded ILM ‘Accredited Centre’ Status
In order to ensure that the Policing Matters team are operating at optimum performance we have engaged in a programme of continuous professional development. As part of ensuring that the products we offer are absolutely fit for purpose we have also ensured that they are open to internal scrutiny. As a consequence of this we recently applied to the Institute of Leadership and Management for Accredited Centre status – particularly around our role as coaches and mentors.
We are delighted to announce that Policing Matters has now been awarded this ‘Accredited Centre’ status. This means that not only can we continually develop as an organisation but we can offer development programmes that have been rigorously and independently assessed for quality.
In the coming months Policing Matters will be offering people the opportunity to engage with us in various coaching and mentoring schemes:
- Should someone wish to qualify as a coach, then we can offer an ILM ‘Certificate’ or ‘Diploma’ at level five in coaching and mentoring.
- An individual may wish simply to sharpen their skills in this area – we can assist by apply the coaching and mentoring programme in a bespoke manner to their organisations.
The flexibility of our approach means that we can offer a diversity of products that centre on coaching and mentoring skills and fit directly with the purpose, direction and culture of an any organisation.
We are incredibly excited about this opportunity to offer coaching and mentoring programmes.
